The claim
Here’s what the strategy promises, in its own terms.
A small target and a wide stop give an 80%+ win rate that passes prop challenges.
How we tested it
Same six checks as everything else here: random entries, coin flips, a look-ahead audit, unseen years, double costs and a luck check. How we test →
What we found
2,700 variants of a popular prop strategy set plus filters, with random-entry twins. Making any entry win 80%+ is easy (small target, wide stop) and it pays the same as random. Random bases passed 0 of 567; the real ones that held were all one family, a triple-EMA ribbon, at profit factor 1.24 in selection and 1.02 on the test window. The rest (pin bars, slow pullbacks, opening-range) were no better than random.

- Profit factor: money won divided by money lost. Below 1.0 loses money. Around 1.0 is break-even.
- R-multiple: profit or loss measured in units of the amount risked per trade. +1R means you made what you risked.
- vs random: how the strategy did against the same trades with random entries.
